[Around the Web] Lace Inspiration

Today, I snuck onto Alisha, one of my close friends pinterest board [Lace, Lace, Lace] for a little Around the Web inspiration. I LOVE lace for weddings so I hope you enjoy these inspiring photographs! My favorite element is Alisha’s Save the Date idea. Alisha is a very crafty person herself and uses scrabble letters on photo frames so I think it fits her perfectly!

[Inspiration Board] 2012 Trends

Oh. My. Gosh. Where have I been? Life has been SO busy and I apologize a thousand times to my readers. Sometimes you go through those seasons. The awaited follow up to the wedding I just did a sneak peek for will be coming soon. I have a few days off coming up in February so the blogs WILL be updated, I promise!

Today I am going to feature some 2012 Wedding Trends that I found on [Etsy Weddings].

Lace Sleeves

How beautiful, elegant and timeless! Of course this trend was onset by the beautiful Dutchess Kate Middleton.

Illusion Neckline

This detail is coming back in a lot of new and different styles to reflect a more modern bride.

Tea Length Gowns

A cute option for summer or an adorable gown to wear for winter with thick tights and boots.

Mint, Burnt Orange & Beige

Fun new trends for Bridesmaids and wedding colors [though I would not recommend all three together].

Until next time…. And yes, I promise you there WILL be a next time…

[Real Wedding] Jace + Lacey –Sneak Peek

Wow, I have been MIA! How was everyone’s Christmas? Now that the holidays are over for us, I have a little extra time to sit down and blog. I’m sorry I’ve let my readers down 😦 Today is full of cleaning, laundry and trying to find a place for all those toys that came home!

For the next few weeks, I’ll be featuring this wedding for you! Jace and Lacey were high school sweethearts. Jace is a part of the military. They tied the knot on July 23, 11 in Medford, WI at First Baptist Church. It was a rainy summer day, but they managed to have a lot of fun and sneak outside for pictures.

Here’s a tip for young brides:

1. ALWAYS HAVE A BACK UP PLAN. You cannot control the weather. Have a plan B to assure that pictures or your reception have a second option in case the weather does not cooperate. It will save you so much stress!

Here is the sneak peek to this beautiful wedding from [James Stokes Photography LLC]

Stay tuned for the rest of this beautiful, classic wedding!
