[Around the Web] Lace Inspiration

Today, I snuck onto Alisha, one of my close friends pinterest board [Lace, Lace, Lace] for a little Around the Web inspiration. I LOVE lace for weddings so I hope you enjoy these inspiring photographs! My favorite element is Alisha’s Save the Date idea. Alisha is a very crafty person herself and uses scrabble letters on photo frames so I think it fits her perfectly!

[Design A Wedding] Jewel Tone Beauty

So, Wisconsin is kind of dreary on this fall day… No better way to beat the cold and soggy weather than to sit at Starbucks and design weddings, right? Today, I am going to share a wedding with you that I did NOT design, however. This wedding is designed by a good friend of mine, Jacqueline. You can check out her blog about fashion and ramblings at [Jac Maries].

Here is her inspiration board color scheme [I love the beautiful jewel tones she has chosen!]:

Here is the wedding she designed:

Bride: A Whispy, A-Line Dress and teal heels.
Groom: Tan Suit for a casual appeal.
Bridesmaids: All different jewel tone dresses to coordinate and tan matching shoes with a bow.
Groomsmen: Tan suit minus the jacket to compliment the casual groom.
Ceremony: Backyard ceremony, outdoors.
Reception: Long tables set up outdoors with twinkle lights above.
Invitations: Purple and simple.
Bouquet: Purple to compliment the color scheme and invitations.
Centerpieces: Floating candles to save on flowers.
Flower Girl: A cute sleeveless dress that coordinates with all three bridesmaids dresses.
Favor: Burlap bags with a jar of homemade honey. How cozy!
Dessert: Teal cupcakes to match the bride’s shoes.
